Oracle Cloud Infrastructure FastConnect

Oracle FastConnect offers a dedicated network solution for your hybrid cloud. With Oracle FastConnect, you can create a high-speed, low-latency extension that allows you to access the benefits of a true hybrid cloud setup. This solution also enables greater security compared to exchanging your data over the public internet. Oracle Cloud® and Megaport connect at Layer 2 in order to enable Oracle FastConnect.

Oracle FastConnect hosts a series of features, including:

Choose between 1 Gbps or 10 Gbps Ports with Oracle and with Sibergen you can increase or decrease your bandwidth between 1 Mbps and 10 Gbps, in increments of 1 Mbps at any time.

Oracle FastConnect leverages industry-standard Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) routing to manage the exchange of routes between Oracle Cloud and your networks. Sibergen supports and delivers connectivity to both FastConnect and FastConnect Networking Classic.

FastConnect can be delivered as a fully redundant service with two physical connections from your network edge to Oracle’s network edge ensuring the high availability that you expect from Oracle Cloud services. NNIs at each location are established on redundant (minimum of two) Oracle FastConnect routers connecting to two corresponding Sibergen edge devices (one NNI between each pair of Oracle-Megaport devices).

You can access all supported public and private Oracle Cloud services within a city by using your single connection.
